Ocean Literacy

How are we connected to the ocean and why is it so important? Investigate the seven principles of ocean literacy, which includes understanding the features of the ocean and discovering the fascinating organisms living within it. Learn how humans influence our one big ocean while also depending on it, whether you live by the sea or hundreds of miles from it. So far, we have only explored about five percent of the ocean. Imagine what mysteries and surprises still await intrepid aquanauts.
